The soil on the 1300m slopes of Jezzine valley has yielded a supreme Syrah that is handpicked, vinified with proud ancestral skills and kept in oak barrels for twelve months ageing. The result is a wine of deep ruby red hue with notes of ripe fruits, licorice and vanilla. In the mouth it is fresh, supple and long with beautifully structured tannins. This exclusively pleasurable wine – of which only 5,000 unfiltered bottles are produced each year – is suitable for ageing or present enjoyment. Best served at 16ºC. Goes well with all types of pastas, pizzas, white or red meats.
